Tales of the Night presents terrifying stories sourced from audience submissions across Mexico and Iberoamerica. This collaborative podcast has been transformed into audio with the help of generative AI.

MEXICO CITY – JANUARY 22TH, 2024 – Sonoro and Uriel Reyes, Latin America’s biggest podcaster, introduce Tales of the Night, the English language adaptation of Relatos de la Noche, a gripping podcast that transports listeners to the eerie legends lingering in the shadows of Latin and Ibero-America.

With weekly unique and immersive stories, Tales of the Night will premiere on January 29th, releasing the most popular episodes from the original Spanish podcast, a mini-series dubbed El Crucifijo del Padre Lucas

  • Ep. 1: Help!
In 1982 Mrs. Socorro meets a possessed young woman in need of an exorcism. Through her pastor, Father Jesus, she is introduced to Father Lucas, an old Italian priest, who gives her a powerful crucifix to fight evil spirits and save the young woman’s life.
  • Ep. 2: The Harlequin
In 1995, Socorro’s grandson is being tormented by a demon in the form of a harlequin doll, his favorite childhood toy. A decade later, Socorro dies and leaves the crucifix to her family, provoking a series of hauntings by spirits and demons, among them the harlequin. Terrified, Socorro’s daughter buries the crucifix to get rid of the evil beings.
  • Ep.3: The Witches
Despite burying the crucifix, Socorro’s family continues to be haunted by spirits and demons. Thanks to an aunt who still lives in Socorro’s old village, they manage to contact Father Jesus, who promises to help them, but first, they must recover the crucifix.
