Sonoro Wins Two Silver Signal Awards for Excellence in Podcasting
🏆 We’re thrilled to announce that Sonoro has been awarded two Silver Signal Awards, recognizing excellence in podcast storytelling!
This year, Humo took home Silver in the Documentary category, while Crumbs was recognized with a Silver award in the LGBTQ category.
Humo: Murder and Silence In El Salvador, narrated by Daniel Alvarenga, is a gripping account of a nation’s deep-seated issues with violence and government corruption. Daniel, a Salvadoran-American journalist shares his personal connection to the crisis, making this series a poignant exploration of the consequences of silence and the imperative of resistance. The award reflects the dedication and skill of our team to bring these meaningful stories to life.
Crumbs, hosted by Emmy Olea, is an audio memoir exploring the intersection of family trauma, addiction, identity and the pursuit of love. Through raw and honest conversations with her mother, Emmy Olea journeys to unpack her family’s storied past. Our LGBTQ-focused podcast was awarded Silver for its authenticity and impact. Through Emmy journey, Crumbs connects with audiences by addressing deeply personal topics and creating a space for voices from the LGBTQ community.
We’re incredibly honored to receive these recognitions and thank the Signal Awards for this acknowledgment.
These awards reinforce our commitment to bringing diverse voices and experiences to the forefront.
